Cycling socks come in all shapes and sizes. You have long cycling socks and short cycling socks. But which ones should you choose?
Should I choose low or high cycling socks?
As far as we are concerned, you must have high cycling socks choice! That looks a lot better and it has a compression effect. Compression ensures that the blood circulation in the lower leg is improved. Or rather; you can cycle through the sound without lactic acid build-up. Okay, that's nonsense. But that it looks better is true. Just look for yourself.

What length should a cycling sock be?
Cycling socks should – as far as we are concerned – reach the bottom of the calf. And as far as UCI regulations are concerned, this is also the case. The UCI decreed that socks may not be too high. Socks reaching to just below the knee are therefore out of the question.
Everyone still remembers the moment when Remco Evenepoel pulling his socks back up after the start of his time trial at the World Championships in Yorkshire, in order to have a greater aerodynamic advantage. It is indeed true that aerosocks tend to be somewhat higher and made of “fast” material, in order to save precious watts. At the highest level, it's all about marginal gains. At our level, it's mostly about aesthetics; higher is nicer. But too high is ugly. They aren't football socks. So, keep the bottom of the calf as a rule of thumb.
